Where is Smokey Mountain Cabinets factory located?

Our 15,000 sq. ft factory is located across the street from our log cabin showroom in Palatka, FL. In the factory we fabricate our custom cabinetry as well as house our stock and semi-custom cabinet deliveries where we finish assembly of these cabinets prior to delivery and installation. We would be glad to give you a tour at any time if you would like to come and see our process of construction.

 

Does Smokey Mountain Cabinets build their own cabinets?

Smokey Mountain Cabinets does offer its own custom line of cabinetry which are hand built in our factory located in Palatka, FL. We also hand-finish and deliver our cabinets directly from the factory to provide the highest quality product for the best possible price.

We do, however, order all of our door and drawer fronts from various custom door companies to be able to provide a wider variety of styles, wood selections, which creates more cost efficiencies for our customers.

 

Does Smokey Mountain Cabinets use particle board in their cabinets?

Absolutely not, all of our cabinetry components are produced with premium solid hardwoods and hardwood plywood.

 

What is the lead time?

Lead time will vary upon cabinet selection. Contact our office for current lead times.

 

Do you re-face existing cabinetry?

Smokey Mountain Cabinets does not provide re-facing as one of its services.

 

Do you remove existing cabinetry on remodel projects?

Smokey Mountain Cabinets does not typically provide removal of existing cabinetry on remodel projects. We would be glad to suggest an independent contractor/subcontractor to contact for this service.

 

Do you install appliances, plumbing, lighting and/or electrical fixtures?

Smokey Mountain Cabinets does not install any appliances, plumbing, lighting and/or electrical fixtures.

 

Do you install your cabinetry?

Yes, we are there every step of the way from designing and manufacturing, to installation and service after the sale. Included in every bid/contract is an installation fee. We have licensed, insured, trained and certified subcontract installation teams that have worked with Smokey Mountain Cabinets for several years.

 

Do you accept Credit Card Payments?

Smokey Mountain Cabinets will accept credit cards; however we do charge a convenience fee of 3% by handling that payment by phone.

 

Do you offer financing?

Smokey Mountain Cabinets does not offer financing. The terms of payment are as follows:
50% Deposit (Deposit Must Be received upon signing of contract to place your project in line for ordering or production)

50% COD (Customer will be invoiced this amount upon delivery of the cabinetry to the jobsite, this amount is to be paid before we can begin installation)

 

How do I clean and care for my cabinetry?

Smokey Mountain Cabinets uses only the finest topcoat products supplied by ML Campbell, guarding them against moisture-penetration under most normal conditions. This topcoat enhances the beauty of the wood and provides a strong protective surface.

A few simple preventative steps will keep your cabinetry looking great for years to come.

Your Cabinetry should be cleaned occasionally by wiping with a damp cloth or mild soap and water. However, be careful, even the best cabinetry finishes are not designed for excessive exposure to soap and water.
Abrasive cleaners should not be used.
